1. Who we are

Abd Studios Inc, trading as Hyperdrive 3D! ("we", "us"), is the data controller for the personal data collected through the Hyperdrive 3D! game and website (the "Service"). We are based in Baghdad, Iraq. Contact us through the support channel listed in the game for any privacy questions.

2. Data we collect & why

• Account data — email address, nickname, country, avatar image. Used to create and secure your account and personalize the game. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Gameplay data — race times, coins, owned cars, levels cleared, club membership, badges. Used to provide the Service, leaderboards, and progression. Legal basis: contract performance.
• Support messages — if you contact us, we keep the correspondence to help you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser identifiers, error logs, usage telemetry. Used for security, fraud prevention, and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Payment data is collected and processed by Shopify, our e-commerce and checkout provider, for checkout, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing; we do not store your card details.

3. Guest play

If you play without an account, your progress (nickname, coins, cars, levels) is stored only on your own device via local storage and is not transmitted to our servers unless you choose to appear on a leaderboard.

4. Who we share data with

• Service providers / subprocessors (hosting, database, analytics, support tooling)
• Shopify, our e-commerce and checkout provider, for the sale of products, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting)
• Authorities where required by law

Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise these rights from the in-game settings (edit profile, delete account) or by contacting us. You also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. We respond to requests within one month where required by law.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on stored data.

8. Cookies & local storage

We use essential cookies and local storage for authentication sessions and game preferences (mood, skin, music volume, controls). We do not use advertising or third-party marketing cookies. You can clear these via your browser settings; doing so may sign you out or reset guest progress.

9. Changes

We may update this Notice from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the game. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
